Venugopal and Associates is an Udaipur-based firm inspired by the belief that good architecture makes life better – by improving interaction between people, by creating more beautiful environments. Our practice is grounded on the principles of Conscious Design, an approach that celebrated resources, culture influences, a keen attention of detail and an inclusive process. All-encompassing project portfolio consists of diverse projects over 1000 projects of hotels, institutes, multifamily housing, residences and interiors in the years since 1998.
In place of a signature style, the office focuses on the unique opportunities of each project, researching new products and old materials, and engaging clients in the design process.
Current focus is on developing sustainable architecture and interiors through thoughtful planning and design of ‘Green’ buildings; we strive for vibrant and livable architecture that is respectful of its environmental, physical and social context.

A lot of hospitality projects are now starting. We also create design solutions for international clients, with projects across the globe and offices at Udaipur, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, and Hyderabad.

Founded in 1998 by Architect Venugopal Madduri, VGA Venugopal and Associated is acknowledged as a thought leader in the country for its work in the domain of Architecture and Interior Design.
Our work is grounded on the principles of conscious design, an approach that celebrated regional resources, culture influences, a keen attention of detail and an inclusive process. We follow an iterative and progressive methodology of innovation and root our learning in traditional and modern context. We aim to give benchmark solutions that address society’s changing ways of living and requirements.
After having worked with Padma shree Jugal Kishore Chowdhary, SumitGhosh and A.P. Kanvinde as intern, he came to Udaipur.Over the years, M. Venugopal worked hard to establish a very strong and visionary presence not only in Udaipur but across the world.We explore dynamic ways to engage the user, the way they move through spaces. We like taking challenges in design. We find inspiration in nature, every day events and chance encounters.The firm takes a deep conceptual approach to work and cobines this with a strong focus on the tactile and sensory qualities of the space.
